With TimeForge, you have the ability to personalize access to certain information with security templates. That way, you’re able to build a hierarchy for your business that makes sense. For instance, you may want managers to only access their own locations.
Managers and Supervisors have standard rules that differ from each other. Supervisors aren’t able to see employee payrates by default, for example. However, since default access may not work for every scenario, you can create security templates and customize which features and reports your managers and supervisors can use.
Log in at the Corporate Level.

- Click the blue “Corporation Settings” link on the top right of your screen.
Add or modify a security template.

2. Add a new security template.
Fill out the template information.
1. If you’re creating a new template, give it a name.
2. Make sure the “Applies To” setting says “Manager.”
Locate “Unassigned Locations”.
Locate the “Unassigned Locations” option. Then, click the third circle. This will deny managers the ability to view unassigned locations.
