TimeForge has some built in security features that restrict access to confidential information like HR documents. One of the most important features are the differences between managers, supervisors, and employees. For instance, employees can’t view pay rates, make schedules, or edit time punches unless specified differently.
By default, Supervisors have access to most everything that a manager does, other than the pay rates/salaries of other Supervisors or any Manager. Most of these options are customizable so that you can have the best fit for your business.
You can prevent access to HR documents by customizing the options on the settings page.
Restrict access to HR documents with the Supervisor options.
As you can see, there are many options for what Supervisors have access to in TimeForge. The options highlighted in red control whether supervisors are allowed to upload, delete, or view HR documents.
Change these options to “No” if you don’t want a Supervisor to have access HR documents.
