Additionally, you can copy an existing employee schedule after it’s been created. So, if you find yourself needing a schedule that is similar to one you’ve created, you can copy that older schedule and then make changes to the new one. This saves you the unnecessary time of repeating the information in a schedule you already created.
You only have to make a few clicks in TimeForge to duplicate an existing work schedule!
Click “Make Copy.”
Locate the schedule you would like to copy and click the blue “Make Copy” link on the right side of that schedule’s row.
Decide when you would like the new schedule to start.
Specify the date the new schedule should begin.
Select your schedule options.
Decide whether you would like to keep the same employees assigned to each shift, or if you would like the AutoScheduler to reassign employees. Also, decide whether or not you would like shift notes to be copied from the old schedule to the new, and check the box accordingly.
