Notes can be created in both schedules and templates, and the process is exactly the same whichever you’re using. After a note has been created, and the employee schedule has been posted, any employee who has notes on their shift will be able to view those notes directly on their schedule.
Here’s how you can easily add a note in the daily, weekly, and monthly views.
Edit or create an employee schedule.
Either click on the schedule you’d like to edit, or click “Add A New Schedule” to create an employee schedule.

Click the “Pencil” icon next to the shift you’d like to add a note to.

Click “Add Shift” on the correct day next to the appropriate employee.

Either Click “Add Shift” to add a note to an existing shift, or click on the existing shift to add a note there.
