If you’re using TimeForge to integrate with your POS, or if you are simply using TimeForge as the portal for your employees to clock in, you will be able to set up a personal password for each employee (including yourself). Within the same settings, you can also decide if an employee can log in to TimeForge using their email address as their username, or you can create a personal username and assign it to them. This is useful if you’re using TimeForge in timeclock mode, because your employees will have to sign in using their unique password and username, which could help eliminate any employee from riding the clock.
Setting up personal passwords for your employees is easy, and here is how you can do it.
Find the appropriate employee.
Click “Edit” on the right side of the employee’s row to go to the password options.
Scroll Down to add a personal password.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says “Employee Login Information.”
Edit the employee information.
Select username/password from the drop-down menu.
Choosing “Username/Password” allows you the ability to assign the employee a unique username and password.
Choosing “Email” allows the employee’s email to to be the login information.
Note: The employee is able to change their password from the settings page on their TimeForge account.
