Admin Users

In TimeForge, Admin users are those users whom aren’t scheduled and don’t clock in our out. Typically, business owners, HR staff, and accountants fall into this category. The key thing to remember about Admin users is that they don’t appear on the employee list at the location level. You must go to the corporate level to view admin users. Here’s how to assign someone the “Admin User” role.

Go to the “Corporate Level”

  • Log in
  • Click on the “Corporation Settings” link to go to the corporate level.

Go to the “Employees” page

Go to the "Employees" page
  • Hover over the “Set Up” tab
  • Click “Employees”.

Click “Edit” next to the appropriate employee

1. Notice the different icon for this employee. This icon indicates that she is an Admin User.

2. Click “Edit” next to this user to change the Admin settings.

At the bottom of the “Basic Employee Information” section, there is a check box that reads “The user is an Administrative User (cannot be scheduled or track time)?”. If this box is checked, the user will be considered an Admin user.

Remember, the user will not appear on the employee list at the location level if this box is checked.

Note: This box only appears at the “Corporate level”.

If you made a change, click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.
