On September 6 – 9, we exhibited at the Florida Food & Lodging Show and occupied booth 1506 for three days. Held in sunny Orlando, the show provided access to about 500 exhibitors for approximately 10,000 restaurant, hotel, and club professionals. This year, the show was held in conjunction with Pizza Magazine’s (PMQ) Orlando Pizza Show.
Hopefully, the show was a great success for the many restaurateurs who were at the show, seeking the latest in equipment, operations techniques, food cost controls, employee scheduling software, building leasing, credit card processing, and everything else that owners, operators, and managers in the restaurant, bar, club, and foodservice industries need. We enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped at our booth!
TimeForge was presented to several thousand individuals interested in controlling labor costs, reducing turnover, and making their life easier by using scheduling and labor management systems.

As previously reported, we discovered a bug affecting our Internet Explorer version 6.0 users.
The bug will be fixed on Sunday, September 14, 2007 when we update all TimeForge users to the latest version of TimeForge, version 1.7.1. This version will have a number of new features and will also contains many speed and layout improvements. More information about the release coming soon!

We have discovered a bug affecting our Internet Explorer version 6.0 users. Specifically, when using Internet Explorer 6.0 with TimeForge.com, you may encounter several drop-down boxes that do not function properly. Not all users are affected, and users of Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 1.5, Firefox 2.0, and other browsers are not affected.
We apologize for this inconvenience, and are working diligently to restore TimeForge for our affected users. If you have any questions about the bug, or would like to know if you are affected, feel free to contact us.

One of the new features in TimeForge allows employees to clock-in and clock-out from the TimeForge website.
With this new feature, you and your staff can compare the theoretical labor schedule (which is built using the Schedules section of the website, and created in advance of the actual work to be done) to the actual labor cost (based on employees clocking-in and clocking-out).
Additionally, there are a number of new reports (such as the Attendance report) which can be used to help compare actual cost vs. theoretical cost.

With the great success of the Western Food Expo in August, we will be exhibiting at the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show in Orlando, FL on September 7 – 9, 2007. The show is being held at the Orange County Convention Center, and is being held in conjunction with Pizza Magazine’s Orlando Pizza Show.
